Ahhh … my little subjects! You we’re all so willing until I tried to get one of you to put your tongue on the fence post. Unfortunately no takers, but I remember that day like it was yesterday! What the heck happened to the time? I’m pretty sure I have more photos in a box up stairs!

Also, I like the colors in this picture and I like the title. The “what do I do with the rest of my life” question is sadly so often in reference to a career. Have humans always been so concerned with what their occupation was or how much money they made? In Jesus’ day, he told people not to worry about where their food was going to come from that day or what clothes they were going to wear, but now, us American’s worry about if we’re happy in our jobs.

Now, I’m not trying to put down the troubles we all face day to day or the fact that we can’t help it that we’re unhappy sometimes or that there is pain or the desire to do something else with our lives. I stared at this question for a few days and started to think, time slips away so quickly, so I don’t want to sit here and think about future time that may or may not be. What am I doing now? Today IS my life, not tomorrow or in the next year when I have that career that I immensely enjoy.
